Okanlawon has vast professional experience spanning over 3 decades in Aviation Industry. He started his career as a Fire Fighter in the Civil Aviation Department of the Federal Ministry of Aviation and became Aerodrome Safety Inspector in the Directorate of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards (DAAS) after attending series of core Aerodrome training. In the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (Formerly Civil Aviation Department), he served in different capacities as a Senior Officer in the Directorate of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards (DAAS). He became the Technical Assistant to the Director, DAAS and had great exposure on Airport strategy and leadership. He participated in the formulation of the Civil Aviation Policy in 2006. As Chairman of the Airport Certification Task Force, his team ensured that there was no record of serious safety concern during the ICAO Audit in 2016.
Okanlawon led the team that achieved certification of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Certification in September, 2017. He was the Team Lead that developed approved Aerodrome manuals and other associated Standards Operating Procedures for MMA, ABUJA and PH. Alhaji Okanlawon is a Graduate of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Transport Management. He obtained a Master Degree in Transport Management from the same University. He represented Nigeria at the first Africa Airshow in Ghana in 2017 and have also attended many trainings locally and internationally. He retired from the NCAA in 2018 to start a career with Ham-Fatok Nigeria Limited.
He is a Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). He is also a Corporate Member of Fire Protection Association of Nigeria
Ibikunle has worked in the aviation industry for 35 years, specifically in engineering and safety management system. He was the Safety Manager at the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA) Ikeja and retired as Deputy General Manager in Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
A pioneer member of Engineering and the Safety Management System (SMS) in FAAN, he attended many training courses in engineering and SMS including those organised by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
M G Ibikunle specialises in Airport Engineering and Aerodrome Safety Management System. Other areas of specialties includes; Airport Planning, Aeronautical Studies, Risk Assessment and Management, Airport Certification Programme, Airport Improvement and Development Programme, Airport Emergency Planning and Procedure’s, Airport Infrastructural Management and the development of relevant Manuals for airport operations.
He holds a Master Degree in Transport Planning and he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). He was the Convener of the Aviation Chapter of the Institute and a Member of the National Council representing the Air mode.
He is the current Chairman, Public Relation and Business Strategy of CILT and has consulted for many stakeholders in the industry.
Sobowale has vast professional experience spanning over 25 years in Banking, Finance, General Administration Human Resources, Strategic Development and Implementation, Accounting & Auditing.
He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB) and also an Associate of Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (ACPIN). He has held various positions of responsibilities in his banking career. He started his career as an Officer in the Human Resources Department of Universal Trust Bank of Nigeria Plc and later moved to Metropolitan Bank Ltd (Merged with UBA).
He had varied experience as Bank Manager, Head of Strategy and Finance, GH (Operations), Head (Internal Control & Audit). He worked with A&M Consulting services as a Senior Partner in charge of Business Consulting handling, Performance Improvements and Strategy Development. He was a Principal Consultant with BOS International Consulting from where he teamed up with Ham Fatok Nigeria Limited.
Sobowale obtained a BSc Degree in Banking and Finance from Olabisi Onabanjo University and MBA in Financial Management from the Lagos State University.
He has participated as financial advisor in many successful PPP (Public Private Partnership) Projects in Nigeria.
Akindolire commenced his career in Aviation as Zonal Airport Manager with the Nigerian Airport Authority (NAA) in 1978. He has functioned in various capacity as Principal Operations Officer, Operations Manager, Airport Manager, Assistant Director (Airport Operations), Deputy General Manager (Operations Fire & Safety), Managing Director (Aviation Services Limited). He has also served as Aviation Safety Inspector for the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority and Murtala Mohammed Internation Airport for over a decade. He was member of Ministerial Committee on various Policy Matters.
Akindolire obtained BSc (Hons) Statistics and MSc Airport Planning & Management from first class Nigerian Universities. He also attended many aviation courses locally and internationally.
He is a Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Management, British Institute of Management, Chartered Institute of Logistic and Transport.
